Conor McGregor (33 de ani), superstarul din UFC, a fost arestat în Irlanda, țara sa natală, pentru condus imprudent.
Luptătorul se afla la volanul unui Bentley Continental GT, mașină care i-a fost confiscată de poliție.
Conform sursei menționate, bolidul irlandezului a fost confiscat de poliție, dar superstarul din UFC și-a primit înapoi mașina după ce i-a fost plătită cauțiunea.
În Irlanda, condusul imprudent poate duce la o condamnare de 6 luni și la o amendă în valoare de 4.100 de lire sterline.
“On conviction, the charge of dangerous driving carries a maximum punishment of a fine up to €5,000 or six months imprisonment, or both.
In a statement to the Irish Independent tonight, a spokesperson for McGregor said: “Mr McGregor was driving to the gym when he was stopped by gardaí for alleged road traffic violations. He passed the drug and alcohol tests taken at the station.”
