Un exemplu clar este faptul ca masina a avut probleme cu pornirea chiar in momentul lansarii sale internationale.
Jurnalistii nu au reusit sa porneasca masina pentru ca aceasta a suferit o avarie la sistemul electronic care este legat atat de imobilizator cat si de sistemele de siguranta ESP sau directia comandatra electric.
Oficialii marcii Alfa Romeo si-au cerut scuze pentru problemele cu acest model chiar in momentul lansarii sale.
Pentru fanii Afla Romeo trebuie spus ca modelul vizate de aceste defecte este chiar versiunea de top Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio care are un pret de achizitie de peste 80.000 euro.

This Alfa Giulia has a torque-vectoring diff and traction control. And it literally could not make it into my driveway. #programmingfail. EDIT: This is not a big deal. All cars with big roll stiffness lift a wheel going into my driveway.
The only issue here is that the Giulia’s torque-vectoring rear differential did not send power to the right wheel, and the traction control didn’t apply brake to the spinning wheel. The latter is the more surprising part.
This happened in all four drive modes (D N A + Track) and on both Giulia QVs I tested. There is no need to blow any of it out of proportion: it’s a small (though head-scratching) programming oversight in the TC/ESP system that will result in real-world problems only in extreme cases such as this.”
